After Piccolo's death, the Dragonballs on Earth have disappeared so Krillin, Gohan and Bulma go in search of the Namek Dragonballs to bring back Earth's Dragonballs. But as they travel to Namek they dont know the danger that awaits them...
Gokou, Gohan and Krillin are all in the hospital recovering from the battle against Vegeta. Popo appears from a flying carpet and tells them about the Namek Dragonballs so they can revive everyone killed by Vegeta. And the only way to get to Namek is using Kami's spaceship, the one he arrived in. Bulma is chosen to go because she is the only one who can drive it, Krillin and Gohan volunteer to go as well even though they are slightly injured. So our heros venture on another journey to the planet Namek.
As the crew heads for Namek, Vegeta returns to Freeza's planet in his space capsule. Badly injured, he manages to arrive and is taken for recovery. A flashback occurs telling the past of Freeza. It is revealed that the Saiyans were loyal servants to Freeza, but Freeza was never satisfied with them. This shows Vegeta's resent to serving Freeza. Vegeta, too, knows of the Namek dragonballs. With the Earth dragonballs gone, Vegeta also makes plans to seek the Namek dragonballs to fulfill his wish for immortality. After becoming immortal, Vegeta plans to kill Freeza, get revenge on Gokou, and become the strongest in the universe. Upon recovery, he races to get to Namek.
